Initiation by Elisabeth Haich
Hi!
Have you read this amazing book? I had it in my house for many years I guess (my sister bought it maybe 10 years ago) and only recently she pulled it out for me to read...
I am on page 100 maybe, and it has taken me on a very powerful journey and important rediscoveries.
The author takes you through her life since birth with amazing amount of detail and an inspiring level of awareness.
So far the book got pretty intense and i am only a third through it, so i must say that it is not so much for the faint heart because some descriptions can be a little scarry in it! nevertheless, if it calls you, go get it! and if you have read it, I wish to hear what you think about it!
from Wiki:
Elisabeth Haich (1897-1994) was a spiritual teacher and author of several books dedicated to spiritual subjects.
She was born and raised in Budapest, Hungary. After the end of the World War II, she fled to Switzerland and founded the oldest yoga school in Europe.
In her best known book Initiation, Elisabeth Haich relates the dramatic story of her past life in ancient Egypt and her apprenticeship with Divine Ptahotep.

All the best

The journey this book is taking me onto is continuing to amaze me as detailed esoteric information about the law of the universe, the way things were once before (ancient Egypt) and how/why things are today. I am totally blown away by the wisdom the ancient Egyptians held and how compassionately they ruled their kingdom.

One of my favorites
This book is one of my favorites.
The way she takes you from Egypt of old when she was a member of the ruling post-Atlantean class to Germany during the WWII with heavy bombs landing near her is just amazing.
Also, the amount of information nowhere else available on true, unspoiled Egyptian religion is unmatchable.
A true eye opener.

'Initiation' is quite possibly my favourite book of all time In fact, just hearing you talk about it makes me want to dig it out and read it again. It's such a treasure: deeply moving, enlightening and powerful beyond measure. Everything a book should be, and more! I'd wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone.

Petra,
you may look inside the book, read the reviews and purchase the item here:
http://www.amazon.com/Initiation-Elisab ... 509&sr=8-2
Once you read it, you will know, for instance, why those pharaohs of old had lions near their throne without actually fearing them.
