Book for Empaths

I was wondering if anyone could recommend or has heard of a good read for empaths. Like a survival guide or a book on dealing with being one.

Hi Anne, this is very interesting to me ( I majored in psychology & counseling) so I looked around a little and what I found was Dancers Between Realms - Empath Energy, Beyond Empathy by Elisabeth Y. Fitzhugh
Also Empowered by Empathy : 25 Ways to Fly in Spirit by Rose Rosetree

Thank you very much for finding those books this really means a lot to me. I like the title "Dancers between Realms" it gives me a warm feeling

I'm going to check them out on amazon.

That one does sound good to me too- and that is funny you posted that link, I had just read that as well! That's me allright!
It's hard to feel so much all the time, isn't it? Not saying it's not good too but just sometimes I wish I could shut it off, haven't figured that out yet...

If you get a chance let me know what you think about that book-

Oh, and I was wondering where in Michigan you live? We visited friends that live in Grand Rapids last summer and went to the Lake. I really liked it there, esp. in the little artsy communities by the lake.

It's hard to feel so much all the time, isn't it? Not saying it's not good too but just sometimes I wish I could shut it off, haven't figured that out yet...

It sure is and I think this book may give us the many answers we're seeking.

I am finally beginning to understand now, it's such a relief ! I believe this going to make things sooo much easier now, it feels as though a huge burden has been lifted. While reading about HSP's I could actually feel my body releasing whatever it was that needed to be released.

I'm near Ann Arbor, they have an art festival every year. My husband is familiar with the G. Rapids area, he really likes that part of the state.

I went ahead and ordered both books, I found that the book By Rose Rosetree to be what I need right now. I'm sure both will have great value to me.

I also ordered Roses's aura reading book.

Oh Thanks for letting me know - I had been wondering if you had been reading them.
I am wondering if you are already gifted with seeing auras or learning to see them? I have seen them occasionally, usually around people I am close to. Very interesting. Hope you are doing well! Will you be helping fire the grid tomorrow? Barbara

Yes I am planning on meditating tomorrow, looking forward to it

I haven't really "seen" auras I just feel & read them. I have seen dark figures with white auras and ones with gold auras but that is rare. Hopefully someday I'll see 'em on a regular basis...
