Invitees to the First Annual Squared Circles Soirée will receive
a precisely folded invitation in rectangular shape, highlighting the
two sides having length as an increment of 1/Pi. How such paper
can be folded* will be revealed privately to the invited guests
just prior to their receipt of this "impossible" invitation. 8)

After analyzing the geometry, non-believers then proffer that
the chances of receiving such an invitation are "SCLin2none"
("slim to none").

The small, dark blue circle (barely visible) in the lower center of the design
was added last, then objects re-layered to "push" it into the background.

I resisted this change, knowing the effort that would be required,
but now appreciate the significance of this barely visible object:
Diameter = 1/Pi (= 0.31830988618379067153776752674503..)

I enjoy relaxing and looking at the design allowing my eyes and mind to flow with it. ( If that makes any sense at all???? ) I also enjoy the way that in the very center of the design there is a feeling of a light being emitted... It may very well be just a computer pixel thing but it still resonates well with me and adds to the enjoyment when viewing your creative work.

Well ... pairing the three sets of light and dark blue circles
caused the 1/Pi circle to be the light blue one in that pair.
But then light blue was poor contrast with the overlapping
green squares, so dark blue rules :!: in those objects.

What's the 1/Pi circle now? The dark blue one.

 Who knew?! "Sabbatical" (oft postponed) will be a decidedly different journey ... after a recent late night (early morning) purchase of a metal detector was rationalized. So impromptu was the purchase that I was almost tempted to believe that forces in another dimension were influencing the questionable transaction.

... Or (more likely) I've been aware for several months that the geometry research has achieved a "good & sufficient" plateau - it's time to segue to fresh air, sunshine, human interaction, ... and non-virtual dirt.

However, I should mention that "treasure hunting" was not part of the rationalization. :o I sensed that searching for hidden metal objects (including the necessary mental filtering of the audio signals from the device) might provide Psychic Awareness 101 training. Interestingly, audio-related events had occurred prior to these final years of geometry research; some of the experiences were posted to this topic.

 Briefly, a key chain radiation detector would sound it's alarm in a bookstore when I was close to the bookshelf where I would find the object of my purchase desire. More intrigue than shopping device since, if I got that close to a bookshelf, I would usually find what I wanted. But what caused the device to signal only in these situations ... nowhere else in the bookstore and not when "just browsing"?

Long story short (a 3-month event): the keychain seemed to have a parasitic drain, causing me to replace that expensive disc battery every month. Closing theory: As the battery power faded, a certain power level was reached where the device could respond to a non-radiation signal. From where? A shopper's focused brain?

 Another event involved the smoke/carbon_monoxide detector near my bedroom - this alarm sounded occasionally during my habitual afternoon naps ... and the decibels were significant! Long story short: Nothing was going to interfere with my naps :!: - the battery was removed and the alarm was silent ... for six months! Not a wise solution, but I had a similar alarm at the other end of my house. I rationalized that I would have just enough time to break a window and escape if that alarm sounded for a gas/smoke event in a different part of the house.

A nearby clock suggested that the alarm was signaling at certain Midwayer time prompts, but what was the message intended by these false signals? Who knows? I was more interested in returning to my nap and did not record the prompts during this month of audio intrigue. "Who can tell?" Maybe just friendly advice that the geometry research needed to get more serious and consistent.

8) These and prompt-related experiences with audio speakers (home computer and van) probably helped rationalize the purchase of another audio device: the metal detector. Already, I can imagine using the pin-pointer (a smaller device) to locate a UFO flying overhead with the signalizing caused by unseen forces/beings and not by metal detection. Admittedly, my imagination and creativity can run in squared circles.

Re: http://board.1111angels.com/viewtopic.p ... 75#p192034

I was contemplating the post time of this new recipe and wondered:
The 4:44 PM post time hints that this is a midwayer-approved recipe
... but it could also mean "Serves 4.44 guests" (.44 is a child ...
and/or a collector of Hank Aaron baseball cards):

"It took me seventeen years to get three thousand hits in baseball.
I did it in one afternoon on the golf course."

After deciding that "midwayer-approved" was a bit whimsical,
I glanced at the computer clock: 11:28 AM

Hmmm ... An extra serving of the salad seems appropriate.

Sandy,

The midwayers also seem to enjoy humor! But they're not going to visibly jump into our time-space without approval "from above" and certainly not without mortal invitation directly or indirectly. Time prompts*, a worldwide phenomenon, have become an efficient - and believable - way for them to confirm that they're "just around the corner" ... always. 8)

*Considering how time prompting (via spontaneous pattern recognition) easily includes other numeric patterns (store receipts, auto license plates, minute/hour countdown timers, and even symbols (re: NTTA logo in the geometry research)), "just around the corner" is understatement! :D

 After so much Blah, Blah, Blah about a certain scalene triangle, how can this design be “the right one” when that triangle is not displayed? Well, the points for its formation are present and all geometers know how to draw a straight line between two points (even before becoming geometers).

The real PTB insisted that the scalene triangle (at least the main one)
be displayed. 8) But this is understandable since research proves
that a Cartesian neighborhood without it has no squared circles. ;)

 Two intriguing anomalies while exploring with the CAD software:

1. Immediately after the file was opened and the design displayed, the display suddenly expanded to highlight the lower right quadrant. Since this is an action the mouse and its wheel could perform, I'll just say "the mouse did it". But then I noticed a particular line that could have a half-size, parallel sibling in that quadrant. :roll

2. Hours later after returning to the computer to review the developing geometry, immediately after the file was opened the "particular line" (only) was automatically - and noticeably - redrawn. "What The Prompt?!" This "not-too-slow motion" automation is new to the Neighborhood. :o I'm being tempted to investigate these parallel lines ... apparently.

 Geometer's clue: Given two squared circles of similar diameter whose inscribed squares share one side, that side creates a '+' sign when the circles' center-to-center line is drawn. This geometric joining mechanism is in the center of complex geometry. Oy vey!

that side creates a '+' sign when the circles' center-to-center line is drawn
;) "Such a life on such a planet." Plus sign removed because:
1. it interferes with the design's visual balance.
2. the points to draw it are present.

 Entrepreneur alert!

causing the object(s) to include a 90-degree angle?
