Terri St. Cloud wrote a wonderful Mother's Day piece. For all the cynicism that abounds about how it is a manufactured holiday for commercial purposes I prefer to like Mother's Day. Every holiday was made up for a purpose. Let's take the commerce out of the holiday and what you have left is goodness.
