Thought I'd share with everyone my all time favourite book, it's by an author called Kahlil Gibran and called The Prophet. I was given this book as a gift about 15 years ago and I have never stopped reading it. Let me clarify, when I finish the book which is only 114 pages long I start at the beginning again. It has some of the most simple but beautiful words you could ever wish to read, this man was well before his time, an indeed a prophet in his own rights. I have found a link to a web site that has this book available to read on line ( page gone )
have a look and see what you think I'm sure you will love it like me.

The Prophet is probably one of my all time favorite books. The passage that has always "spoken" to me is the one about children. I just love the image of children as living arrows sent forth. This book is just amazing.
I actually JUST (as in yesterday) went to a used book store and came across one of his other books. It is Spirits Rebellious. I'm looking forward to reading it. I'll let you know what I think.
