If you only read one thing from this forum today... let it be this one.  :D

"I love.

I wish I could say that I love you, but the truth is that I just ‘love’ and you happened to get in the way.

Now, most people would take offense at this, tell me how impersonal it feels, how if I just love everybody because they happen to be there, then my love for any particular person is not special.

But you are special before I love you.

You are special even if I do not love you.

You are unique, and I am unique, and therefore the love we share is unique."

Hello Welles,
I read this yesterday just before having to dash off for a train with George in tow. it was an important appointment with his vascular surgeon and we arrived to good news. So all is well on G's vascular front... :sunflower: :bana: But that is straying from the point of my post. I just wanted you to know that I throughly appreciated the thought expressed in the above essay. It truly is a reasoning I've not come across before and is extremely helpful in contemplating love. Brilliant!
Thank you for sharing it and giving me something soul nurturing to consider as I traveled.
Hope you have a wonderful week end over there. :hithere
Love,
Sandy
