Daniel Gottlieb is a quadriplegic. When his grandson was 14 months he was diagnosed with autism. Daniel started writing him letters that were complied in 'Letters to Sam'. This is an excerpt from that book. It was a powerful heart tonic for me to read.

I feel a bit "sniffily" after reading that and it is not due to my cold that seemingly refuses to vacate the premises.
