i can't find the thread but remember talking about this somewhere... maybe it's mixed in with the ringing ear thread
are things like feeling tingles, shivers, or crown/third eye activity a signal from the midwayers? sometimes i'll acknowledge a presence but question if it's the cause of these subtle sensations

oh it seems i found it http://board.1111angels.com/viewtopic.p ... 7&start=50
if you want to move it ^

Happyrain, it happens to me too often to be a coincidence (the "tingles").

It's called wei or defensive Qi (chi) in Chinese Medicine. It's presence is usually marked by feelings of being watched,or experiencing something eerie or exciting. It also includes the immune system.

Dear Happyrain,

If you are talking about the hair on the body standing up, I get that as a sign that a spirit is close by. It happened on holiday when a stranger was talking about his deceased mother, and she paid a visit.

love,
Geoff

I remember sitting next to you, Geoff, at the psychic fair when you got the "spirit tingles." At that time the woman next to us was talking about her deceased child. I got the tingles then cause you got the tingles... ;)
hugs,
Sandy

This was so interesting! I studied Chinese Medicine for 1 year, and while we learned about Defensive or Wei Qi, we learned only the physical properties of all things Chinese-medicine; we did not learn anything about the ancient metaphysics inherent in the medicine. I remember my intern who treated me for two years complaining that the program de-emphasized the spiritual aspects of the field; she was from Thailand and had grown up knowing about the sorts of experiences you describe here. I'm very interesting in learning more -- could you tell a bit more about this?

For instance, does Chinese Medicine acknowledge the presence/reality of the chakra system -- and the 3rd eye? I was never able to get an answer about this.

Also, does what you describe have any bearing on the "Ghost Points"?

Thanks and peace!
