Speaking of flowers- yesterday my family and I all wore(unintentionally) shades of purple. Light purple, lavender and fuscia.It took us by surprise when we got together for dinner. This morning, I am holding a purple and pink little flower.

Sorry for the delayed response. How was the satsang?
I’m still up for a call to discuss it or whatever else. Perhaps we could start the UB study sessions again. I came across a song recently called 8:30 Newfoundland. It made me think of our Friday calls at 8:30pm Newfoundland time. I can make Tuesday or Friday evening of next week work if you’re still up for it.

Also, the days are getting shorter here now, and the weather is cooler, but there are still little yellow flowers to be found. I hope all is well with you.

I don't have much availability this week- but you can listen to the discourse up until the end of this month for free. Lets plan for sometime in October- did we finish paper 1?

It’s always nice to get a fresh new perspective. I don’t think I’ll get to watch it this month, so hopefully we can talk about it next week. How does Tuesday, Oct. 8, 6pm central time sound to you?

Yes, we finished Paper 1 so we can pick it up at Paper 2, The Nature of God. Others would be welcome to join as well.

As long as you don't mind me eating dinner over zoom. I'll be finishing up meditation and need to squeeze in the dinner! I'm going to start a separate thread later so we can invite Sandy and Oscar~

We can go back to our Friday slot if that works better. There’s already a thread for that topic.

It is once again the season of yellow flowers and they are still manifesting in my life in so many ways.

I recently met a new friend at the gym. When I first saw this person he was wearing all yellow which really caught my eye. I was strangely attracted to him. Our eyes met and we both smiled. The next time I saw him we exchanged smiles again. We eventually started chatting, and went out to lunch together.

He is new to this city and had only moved to Canada a couple years ago from the Philippines. He told me he moved to Toronto to care for his aunt who had cancer. After her passing, he moved to a small town in Newfoundland with a friend. But he felt a draw to the city a few months ago. It was around that time that I had prayed for God to send someone new into my life. When we were out for lunch he told me that he had prayed earlier that day for God to send someone to make him happy as he was feeling very lonely in the city. So it seems like we were the answer to each other’s prayers.

It’s been three weeks since we first went out for lunch and we have been together every day since then. He has quickly become a source of great joy in my life. He showed up to my house one day with yellow roses because I told him I like flowers. I smiled and asked why he chose yellow. He said they stood out to him. Yellow roses symbolize enthusiasm, joy and friendship, which is very fitting for our relationship. I told him that he is my yellow flower.

I have met some of his family back in the Philippines through FaceTime calls. Yesterday, we welcomed a new member into his family. His brother’s wife gave birth to a beautiful baby boy. Last night his brother told me that he sees my face in the face of his new born son, and he called me his brother. That struck me as one of the nicest things anyone has ever said to me. I feel like I not only gained a new friend, but also a new family.

Anyway, just felt like giving a little update on the little yellow flowers. I hope yellow flowers will continue to light up my life for ages to come.

Jon, this is beautiful and I am very happy for you. There's peace and love in the air, God is great! I especially love that you both prayed for someone, and that the color yellow was in part the guidance and the bond. How cool!

Jon, I am tingling all over and still am as I type... isn't it amazing how the divine can answer both prayers in this way...
