well, guess I'll have to try keeping the camera more 'handy'...

yesterday I saw a 333 license plate,,,while driving to the airport...

had to chuckle when I saw the flight # 333 had been delayed...

perhaps the msg was,,,,you might as well drive,,,the flights late...

well, it was funny...(for me),,,,it took allan 14 hrs to get home yesterday on what was supposed to be a direct flight,,,,which took 3 planes...

he didn't think it was so funny....

you're pretty fast and good with that camera.....I don't have a cell that takes pictures,,,so by the time I fish out the camera it's gone...

have a great day...

Hi PP :hithere ,
14 Hours  , I think I would be just a little grumpy.

Flight 333 and seeing a license plate with the same number is a great prompt, gets your attention for sure.

I have a camera in a case on the belt for my pants more times then not. Allowing me to get some great shots.

Hope your having a great weekend.

Love and Peace

Hi Nick,,,

actually I think he was too tired to be grumpy,,,so I let him rest up...

the flight back to work went much more smoothly,,,have been getting more 2:22 prompts lately though...

I at least popped the camera in the car,,,,maybe I'll take it out of the case....but I think one of those phones that take pics would be faster...

second thought,,,after seeing Laura having 'fun' with her phone camera, my regular camera might have been faster....

the weekend was great....thanks...

Hi ((Lilly and PP)),

My Laptop crashed and I will have to
send it to my company when I go on vacation
at the end of this month.

Without the laptop it's not as easy to get
online.

Hope every one is having a great week.

Oh Yes!!! on my drive down to Maryland
I saw a car with 1111. I really tried to
get close so I could take a picture, but he
was doing 75 mph. Maryland State Troopers
do a good job on the highways so I decided not
to take a chance and get a ticket. Hmmm.... then
again the ticket may have had 1111 on it. :D

Love and Peace

You are probably right with your 1111 luck" but I have a feeling you could do without that particular kind of number prompt.
Hope your computer is up and running soon.

:hithere Hi ((Sandy)),
:D , After a few attempts I had to chuckle myself. Also said to myself "What the heck are you doing?"

My Laptop was slow and annoying but I rather have that then not have a working one.
I go to the hotel business centers late at night to use the public one, more annoying.
Have a great weekend

Hi ((Lilly)), :hithere
I give myself the weekend to see if I can get it working, then off to California it goes.

I have to keep better track of these other prompts myself. It seems they have increased for me.

Hope you have a great weekend.

:hithere Hi everyone,
My last trip to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania I saw
my favorite prompt right after an elevator
shut down with a problem. I was in the Elevator
Motor room and when I turned on the computer
to see what the problem was, I saw the time stamp
of the event. I naturally took out my camera to
take a picture, which then led to a conversation
with the elevator mechanic about the 1111 prompts.
This conversation would not have come up if the event
had not occurred at that specific time.
Image

The next prompt came about when I needed some
rubber gloves at home to do some cleaning. My wife
went to the local drug store and got a box of gloves for me.
When she came back and handed me the box i chuckled
when I saw the size.

 That is often the way it happens isn't it? 8)

It's raining cats and dogs here at the moment... Love it...I'm a wet weather person... As a kid I was always outside (when Mom would let me) stomping in the puddles with my rubber boots.

You have a great week too...and safe travels to where ever you are sent.

:hithere Hi everyone,
Well one week of vacation is gone. One more to go. :D
Went to the supermarket with my wife and we were
almost finished and she remembered one more item.
So I stayed with the shopping cart while she went back
a few isles to get one more thing.

While I'm standing with the cart I decide ( ) to
pick up the bag of Dried Apricots and turn it over to read
the Nutrition Facts. (7 Apricots 120 calories) then I looked down at
the bottom area of the bag and...surprise I see...
Image

What's interesting is that I don't recall ever looking at
back of these bags in the past. I normally don't read
the Nutrition Facts. (My wife says that's one of my problems when
it comes to making wrong choices for the food I buy when I travel.)

The 11 11 10 was the Best By
Date. Sounds like a good date to me. I'll check the next bag we purchase
to see if I see the same date. This could fall into the
right time, right place category. If she had not needed to get one
more item, I know I would never have looked at the back of
that bag.

Hopefully by the end of the vacation I get either my repaired
Laptop or a new one from my company. I do miss having one
when I travel.

Have a great weekend
Love and Peace
Nick

Hi Nick,
Everytime I enter an elevator I think of you....you are such a beautiful presence on the board...a lovely safe haven for sensitive souls like me...
I was on my way to Tafe and worrying about the last assessments..and a car sort of barged in front of me....license plate 1111. At times in the past year or so I have felt so vulnerable and fragile emotionally. I want to thank you for your posts which at times have made me feel so much better. George, Geoff, pp, Petra, Sandy, Anne, Laura, angel, GypsieDeb, AquaDeb...we are so fortunate to know them aren't we..
Last night I went out to a Cabaret and Comedy night and enjoyed myself so much. I am being given the opportunity to perform some Jazz numbers...Peggy Lee and Sarah Vaughn style...I have a wonderful partner who loves me with all his heart and soul. With friends like you and all the people here I am so very blessed and want to acknowledge that fact. Love to you and your lovely wife.

:hithere Hi ((Lilly)),
Be sure to add yourself to that list of wonderful caring people.
For me that's what this board is all about. No matter what thread
a person goes to, there is someone willing to listen, offer advice,
because we care. Thank you for your kind words. Im glad to have friends like you as well.

It's great to hear that you had a chance to really enjoy yourself.
I'm sure with your smile and your performance you brightened up the room.

Love to you and your partner as well. It's good to hear that he loves you and
takes care of you, not enough of that going around now a days.

Hope You have a great weekend.

Also a great and wonderful weekend
to all our friends here.

Love and Peace

Hello Nick and Lilly..everybody else too! :hithere

Nick, I am glad you are getting a nice break from your work travels. Rest and recouping our inner self sometimes is so important and helps us preform better in every area of our lives.

Lilly, I thought the same thing Nick did here...
Be sure to add yourself to that list of wonderful caring people.
:D You both embody what this world needs... loving caring people.
We are all blessed with both your presences on this board. :sunny:

George and I are now back home after a wonderful month long working break at Geoff's. We got back in the wee hours of the morning and I am excited to say that I finally worked up the nerve to drive while here in Australia. Granted there wasn't another car on the highway at that late hour, but still it is a beginning and something to build on. George managed to stay cool as a cucumber as I hit practically every lane marking reflector the first kilometer.

Have a great week! :)

Hi Nick and Sandy
I've been trying to keep my typing speed up to scratch and start job searching. Although I still don't feel that great about going back out into the workplace after what happened to me. I pray that the right job will be out there to suit me.
All you lovely people here are so wonderful.
Sandy, I've been imagining George and yourself in the car...lol I hit those things too... :bike:

Hi Lilly,
Good luck Sis with the job searching! I just know the perfect job is out there for you! Your last job, it was a night mare, but it doesn't have to be like that again. That horrible place is in your past. The future is bright and is made up of all your greatest dreams and desires...well at least we do our best to make it that way...

 I haven't attempted to drive since, but I should. Yep I think the highway was just to narrow for our car and that explains the hit markers... :P

Hi ((lilly)) and ((Sandy)),

Lilly, I sure hope you find that terrific job that is waiting for you.

Well after traveling to the mail box  my wife started opening the mail on the drive back to our house. When we got back in our driveway she opened the last letter and it had a check and she chuckled and said look at the check number.
Image

This morning my 7 year old granddaughter was playing in our front yard and right after she came into the house we looked out the bay window in our living room we see a Black Bear in the exact spot she had been playing in. We live in the Pocono mountains of Pennsylvania so not that strange an event.

Nick,
That sure is a great incentive for a thanksgiving. My goodness, I'd be scared out of my wits. Do they ever come closer to the house????
We only have to worry about stray dogs around the neighbourhood.
I love the cheque number.....have a great week!!!

Hi ((Lilly)) this guy was about 25 feet away from the house. About 30 years ago when we first moved up here there were many more. The first week I walked around the corner of the house and almost bumped into one twice the size of this one. (2 feet away  ) I backed up and raised my hand and said" Okay buddy...You have a great night" and backed up around the corner of the house and went back into the house through the sliding glass door. Now we only see some every couple of months.

:hithere Hi ((Pet)),

She is great the only problem is getting her to understand you don't go Hug the big furry bear.

Because when she saw him from the window she said to us "Can I go out and Hug him"

So her bear encounter training started yesterday...No hugging, walk don't run in opposite direction... :D

Have a great day Pet
