Several hours before sunrise, I was awakened by four knocks
on my front door. I immediately looked at the clock: 4:44.
No more knocks, so I went back to sleep. First guess,
considering recent early morning awakenings (without knocks)
and past prompting by 'x:44', this is a good time to connect
at the pre-dawn alpha level.

The next morning, '3:44' appeared while I was concentrating
on resolving a computer backup problem, so no '4:44' next.

This sound was knocking on my wood front door, however a metal storm door
is in front of the wooden door and storm door made no sound of opening or closing.
This could suggest someone (Midwayer?) knocked on the wood door from the inside.

Considering the UB's
sleeping subject who "spoke" (breathing, speaking, etc.
that would have to be caused by a Midwayer), I now suspect that the knocking
sound was Midwayer-generated and not a rap on a door; perhaps, sound waves
generated that humans could hear. Thus, even the sleeping subject was only
believed to be speaking because of this ventriloquism-without-a-source
(thus believed to be the speaking sleeping subject).

Perplexity) "In most ordinary situations people in the 1800s – early 1900s would have assumed
a man was talking in his sleep if his voice was heard and there was no obvious external source."

" How the Urantia Book was revealed through the sleeping subject."
"
The sleeper was never awake during the revelations' communications or afterwards, when the materialized documents
began to arrive in response to the questions of the Forum members. What the revelators say is that because of his
'almost complete indifference to any outward manifestations of the Adjuster’s inner presence; it is indeed fortunate
that he remains consciously quite unconcerned about the entire procedure'. It means that, when he was awake,
the subject had no interest in what happened when he slept. That's all.
The revelators never used the subject's mind,
so he had no memory of anything that happened during his dream. The sleeper was a member of destiny's reserve corps."
(
P) "In mainstream cognitive science and neuroscience, speech is understood as inherently involving mental states
and cognitive processes - intentions, concepts, memories, and planning - regardless of whether one thinks 'mind' is purely
physical or has a non-physical aspect. These fields remain neutral on the metaphysical status of mind and instead treat
speech as arising from whatever systems support those mental processes, empirically studied through brain and behavior."
Since the "revelators never used the subject's mind" and the revelators were not physical beings (unlike Secondary Midwayers
who can interact with our material reality), these Midwayers are the more likely cause of the sleeping subject's facial movements
(if they occurred) that typically express speech. This suggests that ventriloquism-without-source would have been much easier
to simulate a speaking "sleeping subject" than physically causing the subject's related body movements.

More evidence that, without mind, a sleeping subject would not communicate
anything of value, especially relative to our fifth epochal revelation:
Q: How does mind, gifted from above, and the biological brain help children learn to speak?
(
UB Tutor) "The process by which children learn to speak is a profound interplay between the biological brain
and the mind, which is a divine endowment. The biological brain, with its intricate neural networks and physical structures,
provides the necessary foundation for processing sensory input, forming connections, and coordinating the motor skills
required for speech. This physical apparatus evolves through natural processes and is shaped by genetic and environmental
factors, enabling the child to perceive sounds, recognize patterns, and eventually replicate them as speech.
However, the capacity to learn language transcends mere biology. The mind, as a gift from above, introduces a dimension
of creativity, adaptability, and understanding that cannot be fully explained by physical mechanisms alone. The adjutant
mind-spirits, particularly those associated with intuition, understanding, and knowledge, play a vital role in this process.
These spiritual influences activate and enhance the mental potential of the child, enabling the integration of sensory
experiences with cognitive and emotional development. For instance, the spirit of understanding facilitates the association
of ideas, allowing a child to connect words with meanings and contexts, while the spirit of knowledge aids in the retention
and application of learned concepts .
This dual interaction between the biological brain and the divine mind ministry ensures that language acquisition is not just
a mechanical process but a dynamic and evolving experience.
The brain's physical evolution provides the structural capacity
for speech, while the mind's spiritual endowment enables the child to imbue language with meaning, emotion, and creativity.
Together, these elements reflect the harmonious integration of material and spiritual influences in human development,
illustrating the profound unity of physical and divine forces in shaping the human experience."
Q: Would a child's speech be intelligible if mind did not participate in this development?
(
UBT) "If the mind did not participate in the development of a child's speech,
the resulting communication would likely
lack the coherence, creativity, and meaningful expression that characterize human language. The biological brain alone,
while capable of processing sensory input and coordinating motor functions, operates as a purely mechanical and instinctual system.
Without the influence of the mind, speech would be reduced to a series of reflexive or imitative sounds, devoid of the deeper
understanding and purposeful intent that the mind imparts.
The mind, as a divine endowment, introduces the ability to associate words with abstract concepts, emotions, and intentions.
It is through the mind's participation that a child learns not only to mimic sounds but also to grasp their meaning and use them
in context. For example, the mind enables a child to understand the difference between a word spoken in affection and the same
word spoken in anger, imbuing language with emotional and relational depth. Furthermore, the mind's capacity for creativity
allows for the formation of new expressions, the understanding of metaphor, and the ability to adapt language to novel situations.
Without the mind's contribution, speech would lack the higher-order cognitive and spiritual dimensions that make human
communication unique. It is the mind that bridges the gap between the mechanical functions of the brain and the spiritual
potentials of personality, enabling language to become a tool for expressing love, sharing ideas, and building relationships.
This underscores the profound interplay between the material and spiritual aspects of human nature, where
the biological
brain provides the foundation, but it is the mind that elevates speech into a meaningful and transformative human experience." .
Conclusion: Without mind, the sleeping subject would have been an electro-chemical dummy
whose body movements and speech were controlled by a Secondary Midwayer (unnecessary effort
when ventriloquism-without-visible-source would have been sufficient revelatory contact).
