I haven't read his other book....I wonder what he has to say in that one. I have it and skimmed through it, but at the time I thought it was way "out there" and not at all what he was going for in this one. I might try reading it again because I would like to try to figure out how he came...

Yes, that's what I got too, about linking science and spirituality. Almost like a scientific "explanation" of consciousness, but without denying God either. For me, I'm always wanting reasons and explanations, and this one provided a lot of both, although it is all just theory. :)
