Dear Nick,
don't think we've ever shared an introduction, but after reading your posts I do feel a familiar closeness. I'm John, and I'm very pleased to make your acquaintance. I feel I need you to know that as I reached the end of this thread my heart sank as I read about your dear mother's passing. I too lost my mom, a couple of years back. It was the very hardest thing for me to lose my best friend in the world and you and yours have my deepest sympathy. But I want you to also know that recently my mother came to me in a dream. She said she didn't have long, but was being allowed to show me how incredibly happy she is now to no longer feel pain and suffering. She explained that she is teaching again now where she is, and asked if she might show me what she feels all the time now, placing a hand on my chest. It was the most incredible explosion of pure love I could never have imagined. If I had to guess I would imagine there was light shooting even from the ends of my hair. She said that is only a taste of what waits on the other side, and to not grieve anymore for her. So although I do offer my condolences to you and yours, I can't help but imagine how wonderful it must be for your dear mother to know such pure love.

It’s a pleasure meeting you. Thank you, for sharing that personal experience that you had with your mother. We grieve because we miss them but we know they are in a far better place and having your mother confirm that for you must have been a wonderful experience. Thanks again for sharing.

Hi Lee,
Thank you for your prayers. The Mass and burial will be Thursday
morning so a couple extra prayers for strength on that day would be appreciated

I'm so sorry to hear of your Mom's passing.....your (board) family is thinking of you,,,helping you to get through this next week....

I know,,,we know,,,all the good stuff about passing over.....

Your Mom knew it was time,,,,you mentioned she said she was 'ready'...

my Mom did the same thing.....

yet,,,,no matter how ready they are,,,,,we're never ready to say farewell, till we meet again....and we are assured of that meeting....

This morning however when they took my mom for a battery of tests
she passed away…

I'm ever so sorry Nick. I'm awful with condolences, but know that my heart is with you and your family right now. She sounds like a lovely soul.

Thank's PP, Sandy, Petra and George you will be happy to know your prayers did give me strength, thank you my 1111 family.

Tomorrow, 9-11 is another day for prayer. Anyone that has read my 9-11 story in my profile knows how close I came to also being killed that day. But, because the 4 men in my team would not leave me I was forced to leave with them. It's one thing to put my own life at risk but I couldn't put theirs at risk.
Their statement "you stay we stay" will always be itched in my heart. I owe them my life and eternal gratitude.

I’m driving back home early tomorrow morning from Maryland.
I was at one of the alphabet agencies’ all week.
The one good thing was not being allowed to have a cell phone.

not having to deal with any problems. Everything transfered to main office. )

Oh BLISSSSSSSS!!! I have this really cheapo crappy one only used in emergency and for Phil to tell me when he's coming home, so to put on the kettle, crack a beer open, whatever. I hate the darn things. I look around me in public places and most folk are barking down their mobiles, or texting. Taking pictures with them at some remarkable scenery and then ogling the picture before moving on rather than ogling the real thing...*confused!!*

I really think time is going faster. Hard to believe its been 2 months, since my last visit.
I had to get my Laptop repaired and then my desk top computer repaired and then replaced.
In that whole process I lost some great 1111 pictures.

I guess I'll start with a trip I took to NYC (I've been to Canada, Louisiana, Virginia,
Chicago, and Texas since the last time I was here)
The New York trip is an example of my where the timing had to be exact for
me to see my 1111 prompt.
I had finished working in the elevator motor room and had just returned to the street level and said goodbye to
the elevator mechanic who had worked with me. He had offered me a ride to
the bus station but I knew he had a long trip home so I told him I would just walk the
two blocks to the Subway. (Turned into 6 blocks because I went the wrong direction

)
So if I would have gone with him I would have missed the prompt.

After walking 2 blocks I realized my mistake and walked back to the building, but instead of going straight
I made a turn to walk 1 block south and then west to the subway station. As I walked up to the intersection
the light changed, allowing the cars to cross in front of me. The second car that passed was a Car service
and they had their telephone number on the door. Yup, the last 4 numbers were 1111.

It happened so fast I couldn't have taken a picture even if I wanted to. Talk about timing.
