Oh my, I didn't see this...I have been thinking about you guys, but head over heels enjoying having my grandson staying in my care for a couple of weeks. I discovered during this time that I stink at basketball, but can still swing a mean "crochet" mallet. (Not sure I spelled that right?)
Thank you for the good wishes. it was a wonderful birthday. My son and the rest of the family came down to pick Eli up, and so, for the first time in a while, they were with me on the day I was born.

Hello Mauricio,
In Australia, the day is written before the month, too. So my birthday would have been seen also as 11/7. I was born in the US, so I grew up with the month first, then the day. I was completely confused for a time when filling out visa documents.
When moving back to the US after George passed, I had to get used to the change all over again.

Na Austrália, o dia também é escrito antes do mês. Portanto, meu aniversário também seria visto como 11/7. Nasci nos EUA, então cresci com o mês primeiro e depois o dia. Fiquei completamente confusa por um tempo ao preencher os documentos do visto.
Quando voltei para os EUA depois que George faleceu, tive que me acostumar com a mudança novamente.
