This is a wonderful little story about Deborah Hawkins first experience as a hospice volunteer. I found it attractive because I've had good friends die recently and I have always loved Otis Redding.

This essay brought up quite the flood...

"Letting someone know they’re not alone is no small thing."

That is absolutely true.
