Hi Eric,
I enjoyed listening to," Batzorig Vaanchig- Mongolian Throat Singing". The comments were intersting too. It causes me to wish to know more about the history and origins of this amazing music...
Thank you for sharing it.

I agree, great lyrics thanks for sharing them Sandy. I'm really glad you like the Mongolian culture too.
Jon, the dream was more like... The impression I received, that there are more members active here than we realize. New members, but especially members of old. They still check in here.
Hope you are able to join us in a group meditation tonight!
I also want you to know I have off this Thursday and Friday, and am hoping to join Casey Claars group video chat Thursday at 6PM central. It's a healing circle. It'll be my first time. You're welcome to join in if you find the time fitting. I think that's 8:30PM your time.
Let me know and I'll gladly send you the info. If anyone is interested they can let me know.

Sandy, the Indigo Girls’ songs are filled with many spiritual themes. I find the lyrics of Strange Fire very powerful. They really ring the truth bells. You may also like Secure Yourself. That was the first song I heard by them that caught my ear.

The Mongolian throat singing reminds me of Inuit throat singers. The Inuit are an indigenous people of Canada. This art is a great source of pride and joy for this culture. Here is an example:

Eric, speaking of dreams, I had a dream last night in which I wanted to learn how to play the guitar. And somehow I just picked one up and starting playing Fast Car by Tracy Chapman. It made me feel really good to be able to play that song so beautifully. Then I was disappointed to wake up to my lack of musical skills. I’m thinking about actually learning to play now. Do you play any instruments?
I joined in to the group meditation tonight for about a half hour. The wind is howling outside which gave the impression of being in the eye of the storm. I also felt someone touch my hand for a brief moment.
I’m interested in the group chat with Casey this Thursday, is she accepting new members in her group? I wouldn’t want to intrude. And yes, that’s 8:30pm Newfoundland time.

I joined in, it was a deep meditation and then I went straight to bed. I had to switch from sitting to laying on the floor because I lost circulation to my left leg.
Jon it's a healing session and anyone is welcome.

There's the link for details.
I have dreamt of playing guitar before too, and like you, it always feels so good.
I used to play a little guitar- but the instrument I learned/was officially taught growing up was trombone.
I played a little piano and drums but nothing good- just learned real basic stuff.

Thanks for the details, Eric. I plan to join in and see what it’s all about.
Well, you have more musical skills than me. I briefly learned to play the violin in school but never stuck with it. And my sister took piano lessons so I picked up a few things from her. I used to know how to play one part of the Heart and Soul duet.

I have a toy Snoopy that’s dressed as Santa. It plays the Charlie Brown Christmas song on the trombone and dances. Lol. The trombone has a such a smooth sound. Did you know that the trombone has been called the Voice of God?

No I did not,
Thanks for sending me down the trombone rabbit hole
Despite all the amazing talent I discovered tonight... from Czardas to big man plays tiny trombone-
I found the hype from this schools performance really exciting-

Coldplay is one of my favorite bands. Their music takes me up sometimes when I’m feeling down. I heard this song today, and figured I would share it. I really like the video too.

LOL
I love the twisting...Been trying to keep up with Richard Simons in his "Sweatin to the Oldies" and I am trying to figure out how any human can twist their body so fast! I might sprain something, but what a way to go...such fun.
Cam,
I looked up Aruna on UTube. They are AMAZING!
Thank you.
Here's something that resonates with me right now...

That is a beautiful song, Sandy. May the fire burn that which no longer serves us and the rain wash away the ashes.
I’ve been into the oldies lately. Here’s one of my favorites. Van Morrison, Into the Mystic.

Did you see the lights
As they fell all around you?
Did you hear the music?
A serenade from the stars
Wake up, wake up
Wake up and look around you
We're lost in space and the time is our own

Eric, I read through the website and listened to the song. Its very nice, thanks for sharing. I believe a lot of this comes from the Book of Revelation.
It brings to mind the Revelation Song lyrics, "Holy, holy, holy, is the Lord God Almighty, who was and is and is to come. With all creation I sing praise to the King of Kings." I found this song a long time ago, but still use these words in prayer sometimes.
Here's a song and video to commemorate the life of Christ:

Cool tune, Eric. It certainly brings a light and airy atmosphere.
I’ve been digging a bit of the funk/soul music lately.
