how to edit a message

Can someone please explain how to edit a message ? I've looked and searched the forum but do not see this as an option .

Hi, there should be a little button next to your post that says edit.. look at your avatar and slowwwly move your eyes to the left lol, should be there..

Hey Roxie and Sarah,
I believe there is a time limit allowed within the board's construct to edit a post you have written. This came about years ago when a few people as a "lark"were deleting their posts making entire threads incomprehensible. I do understand that this is a "pain" though. Luckily a moderator can edit posts. So if there is anything you ever wish changed or removed we can do that for you. Just let us know what needs done when the time limit runs out to your own editing.
