The Spirit's Guardian's Little Accomplice

I took my daughter (5 year old) to the licensing office earlier to get her an enhanced ID. We frequent the border and it makes passage quicker. Anyway, while we were waiting to be called, she asked for my pen and took some paper from the counter. As curious as 5 year olds are with numbers, she asked me to tell her how to say “in words”the number she writes down on the paper. I have the paper as I'm writing this post, by the way. So she starts and writes 0115844...so I said “well there's a 0 at the end so it should be one hundred fifteen thousand eighth hundred forty four.” She writes again, and this time it was 1100811, so I said “that's one million one hundred thousand eight hundred eleven. So pretty much by now I'm starting to sense a pattern... Anyway, now she starts getting fancy and she writes an equation this time... 01+11. Well I start laughing by this time and was trying my best to say “one plus eleven” without laughing. She got upset...the poor dear. Thought I was laughing at her. I told her I was just impressed by how smart she was, but she refused to write after that.

Boy...they're throwing their weight around aren't they... :? “you will listen to us, or else we will take over your daughter and make her antsy and make your life miserable...puny fleshling”.   It's “extortion” I tell ye!!!...hah!

Sorry...just thought that was hilarious. But seriously, sometimes, I guess they also use the folks around you to let you know they're saying “hello”. Hey “I hear ya!!!!”

“...puny fleshling”   :stars: :stars: :stars:

That is a GREAT story! I wonder if she knows when they are getting her to prompt you. If she's anything like my son though, as soon as you ask they get mad or quiet...like pulling teeth

LOVE!!!!

Well now...Let's double up on Robob's prompt...

My 15 year old...the one with the "gifts" who has temporarily "shut them off"...the one who get's testy with me if I bring up ANYTHING to do with the metaphysical "realm"...

(He'll be mad at me for sharing this... ) He has a crush on a girl...as we pulled in the driveway on the way home from school he was proposing ideas about how he might ask her out. I parked the car, shut it off, he opened his door and the clock read 2:22. I couldn't resist pointing it out to him. Then he went on a 5 minute ramble about number codes and names...he was rambling so fast I couldn't follow half of what he was saying! All I know is I heard 117 and the name John a lot, and something about John being a savior!

Of course when I asked him to slow down and repeat it he didn't want to talk about it any more. Dang I want to know what goes on in his head!!! Sounds like a midwayer PAH-TAY!

LOVE!!!!
