11:11 Angels Message Board

This week I praid and asked for an answer on a question. I asked in which direction I have to go, so I asked for guidance and if I please could get the answer in my dream.

That night I had a dream, I was talking to my guardian angel, I don't know for sure that it was my guardian angel but I think so, and asked him the same question as I did in my prayer.

Because I'm Dutch I did not expect to get the answer in the English language but he said to me just one word: play...

Now I have to find out what he meant.

Hi Jeanne ~ your post made me smile. I have a set of Doreen Virtue's Angels Guidance cards, and I sometimes do a reading for myself. I often get the card "Play" and think, 'what???'.

I think it means that as adults we can get so caught up in being responsible adults that we forget to have fun. I think it means that we all need to take 'time out' from being responsible adults and do things that bring us joy and pleasure in our lives, that make our hearts sing. It may be a hobby or craft, or just doing something 'goofy' and light-hearted and letting go of our 'upright respectable adultness' for a little while - enjoying life like kids do.

That's my take on Play.

i had the same response once during meditation. i asked, what should i do ? the voice said "play". i 'said' unto voice..."what do you mean play ?"

it said to me...."remember when you were a child, remember the purity of the heart you had ?" ,,,i did remember. "okay" i said, you lead and i shall follow

Jesus says: “Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God” (from GTWA, god talks with arjuna)

Purity of Heart/ Sattva-samshuddhi/ means transparency to truth.

I think "play" means to relax and let go....whatever obstacles fall into your path, let it be....

Nice thread. Been sitting here for ten minutes daydreaming about things I did as a child at play. Thank you all for that, I can't think of anything I would rather do today than just go outside and play. Besides, I'm probably much to old to grow up now anyway...

Thank you all for the answers. I have to think them over. I like to read all the things you wrote. It's amazing Anne that heard it too when you where meditating. And Bluebelle it's amazing you often get the card "Play".

Sometimes we play with our grandchildren... last time when we where playing, I got a "dinner" from my granddaughter (4 years old) :-) and "soup" and "pizza", not real of course, and I had a good time playing. They are so cute this children and I enjoy it so much to be with them.

Yes I have to relax Sarah and Geoff, I often worry to much.

And John I like to hear you did enjoy to this tread and had a nice daydream.

When I was a child I had a lively imagination. And I feld so free when I played alone. Other children did not understand the stories I played with my little dolls.

How often it seems that we forget this but you are so right. Life is short, the most important thing you can do is spend time with your family and enjoy every moment that you can. None of the other stuff that we spend so much time and energy worrying about really matter any way.

I can't think of anything I would rather do today than just go outside and play. Besides, I'm probably much to old to grow up now anyway...

... awe i love that... i often think the same when i look at children, like i wish i had all that energy, wish i could run like lightening again... ... it's funny how most adults lose this in our modern sedentery lives....

Don't forget that we can 'play' in our daydreams. I often sit and close my eyes and see myself dancing in my mind. I would love to do ballroom type dancing but never have.

Take time today to 'play', even if it is in your daydreams.

Just a thought, I recall very much enjoying watching the 1994 movie "Angels In The Outfield". Makes me wonder, when we play do they, the midwayers, also play? Is our enjoyment their enjoyment? I understand that part of their mission is to traverse our world effecting change as they are able, but also wonder if they join in with our festivities as well? I sure do hope so, and welcome, whole heartedly, in case any are listening, any or All of them to go riding with me this weekend.
