Eric,
I agree with Sandy, it's not a failure on our part if we don't finish a guided meditation. Sometimes they're helpful for us and sometimes they're not. Sometimes you wish 'the guide' would just stop talking so you can go off in the direction your spirit wants to take you!

yes and while i am grateful for their contributions, i know their disciplines are presently beyond my capacity. i simply don't have the desire to match the lifestyle. meeting swami vidyadhishananda was a real blessing. especially since he connects directly with other guru's and philosophies i've been introduced to in this life. i can not say he is my guru but he is here to help humanity, even though i'm not always respectful of his time, i try. am happy to share these contributions which are here to help us awaken to our selves, a unique contract between self and Self. between individual and God.
