Hi Rod,

I can't even begin to imagine a KFC gravy scented candle. LOL I'm wondering.... if you were one of the 250 chosen to receive one...could you ever burn it or would that immediately ruin its' collector value?

I have a pecan pie candle bought at an Amish market in Ohio that is to die for. YUM LOL

Of course, climate change is but one of many modern era stresses

Interesting recycling ... except many of those used containers will still have product in them! Not to worry! A fresh Loop tote will probably be left.
And the many pickup teams will need transportation (trucks? maybe electric!) to gather the totes.

Better idea? Consumers bring their used containers to convenient drop-off locations ...
but this type of recycling has never been popular (in sufficient participants).

Which reminds me ...
A few decades ago, plastic bag recycling was promoted by a local grocery store (bring used bags to a drop-off container at the front of the store). I asked what happens to the bags and a clerk said "We put them in the trash bin behind the store".

Today we have drones! Maybe every home will soon have a landing pad on the roof for all that will be delivered or returned.
Caution: Some people will try this as free one-way transportation with the larger drones.

Highlights the concept of "tiny houses" relative to a small house, but ...
Is the purpose to decrease size as well as cost while increasing mobility
Or to concentrate similar expense of labor and materials into smaller space

Rarely discussed is that "tiny house" living requires adaptation
(aka "downsizing") by severely limiting possessions.

Entrepreneur Alert:
Create a livable Pod Mod* that would be parked in your driveway
while you experiment how you can tolerate such downsizing.

The good side of carbohydrates ... but the bottom line remains:

Too many carbs per meal and blood sugar goes up - glucometers make this obvious
(try testing with simple meals, 1 1/2 hours after a meal and after a bedtime fast)

Of course, if you're not diabetic or pre-diabetic, blood sugar looks good ...
since your body's insulin increased to complement the higher glucose ...
which is great! ... until you develop insulin resistance.

A kid's program on TV explained that oysters eat phytoplankton or small bits of algae suspended in the water.
And it showed how a tank of oysters cleaned the water after it was filled with a bucket of this green stuff.

However, to claim that oysters clean the water is misleading (IMO) because they're simply eating.
(of course, telling kids to "clean your plate" communicates a similar message)

So, what oysters are "cleaning" from the New York Harbor is not necessarily oyster food
... and why those oysters are probably not good people food

After a few years of experimentation, I'm now convinced that
reducing consumption of ALL flour makes easier blood sugar control ...
simply because flour digests faster than its source (grains, beans, etc.).
Without complementary insulin (natural or injection), blood sugar rises.

Seems to me ... "break fast" defines the original purpose of breakfast ...
and the post-fast meal supplies long-lasting energy (plus other nutrition) for a productive day.

Since "weight gain" suggests an excess of food with complementary low physical activity,
a better study would be to prove that less food and more physical activity causes weight gain.

Somehow the logic of this incident seems to crumble upon reflection ...

Is it possible that a girl scout leader would willingly teach the girls that their sales effort may all be in vain!? Or that they could double their money by falsifying the theft? Besides, lotsa boxes have to be sold to accumulate $1,100 ... requiring hours of sales effort

Methinks that the appropriate charge would be negligence: leaving the envelope vulnerable to passer-by theft.
Then again, I'm recently sugar-biased by two all-too-quickly-consumed boxes of Do-Si-Dos.

Best guess: Tara was rarely soul-satisfied in all her goings about ... but had expectation of continuing life where such satisfaction is possible.
Her "hope is nothing more ..." hints (IMO) that she did not share her longings and disappointments with others.

Logically, if planet Earth is making serious attempts to find other inhabited planets, much advanced planets have been trying for ages to find other inhabited planets ... and have not been successful (or they're not telling us) because of the unfathomable (until recently) distances, with the longer distances suggesting that communications require ages ... further suggesting that when contact is made, the planet may have advanced far beyond that suggested by the content of the initial communication.

With such a delay in communications, we might expect that patterns (astronomy, science, electonic signals, etc.)
are the better content for first contact and response.
