This one showed up in my playlist today:
 https://youtu.be/KMEOdDjJK6o?si=dP6eponYHqRlMUAH
The song is the Pier Laurenzi "Spaced" Mix of Pure Shores by All Saints. I've always liked that song. I think its from the soundtrack to the movie The Beach with Leonardo DiCaprio. The music video is superb cinematography of the planet so I felt like sharing. The footage of the avalanche gave me chills as the words "white wave" came to mind. These words stuck out to me in another song that I was listening to yesterday, Silence by Delerium ft. Sarah McLachlan.
https://youtu.be/zeStOE0rHeo?si=CI7kFeecfWlf-qj7
"Heaven holds a sense of wonder
And I wanted to believe that I'd get caught up
When the rage in me subsides
In this white wave
I am sinking
In this silence
In this white wave
In this silence
I believe"
Gloria in excelsis Deo - Glory to God in the highest

That one put a smile on my face this morning. Definitely not your average Christian song. “Cowboy of the light, shooting rainbows through the night.”

Today I’m gone country, back to my roots..
Last night I dreamed I died and stood outside those pearly gates.
When suddenly I realized there must be some mistake.
If they know half the things I've done, they'll never let me in.
And then somewhere from the other side I heard these words again.
And they said, "Let me tell you a secret about a father's love,
A secret that my daddy said was just between us."
They said, "Daddies don't just love their children every now and then.
It's a love without end, amen, it's a love without end, amen."

I believe you bested me on this one --- although I lived in Texas for quite a while Classic Country for me thank you very much. So you have the knowledge on what's out there across the spectrum. And the winner is -- in MY mind anyway - Patsy Cline: Crazy and Walking after Midnight. She was an inspiration to female country singers that came after.
The music on the turntable this evening is --- Under the Radar - Little Feat
HOY! HOY!

Patsy is playing now. She has such a beautiful voice! I can certainly relate to Crazy lately. Lol. And our walks after midnight are really just closer walks with Thee.

				Love, love is a verb
Love is a doing word
Fearless on my breath
Gentle impulsion
Shakes me makes me lighter
Fearless on my breath
Teardrop on the fire
Fearless on my breath

There's something about Commander Chris Hadfield singing Space Oddity on the ISS that's got me smiling this evening.
Ground Control to Major Tom
Commencing countdown, engines on
Detach from station and may God's love be with you..

Wow Jon, what an amazing find!
Starwalker

I cant believe this exist. That's super cool my friend.
An astronaut musician, this is the kind of character you find in great novels or captivating tv series.

YT recommended his TED talk,
https://youtu.be/Zo62S0ulqhA?si=diHSo6gxaRIwEIx3
I just watched it. It is a new favorite. Thank you for turning me on to this inspiring human being- Chris Hadfield.
Here's what I was doing tonight... Getting icecream, driving dads big ol'e SUV which felt like a cloud down a quiet dusky road with green trees on either side listening to this:
https://youtu.be/8vpgoNDi71Q?si=g1Tu0edJU5gj-ezr
And the icecream was good

Here's to our continued journey and discovery!

I loved, Commander Chris Hadfield's rendition of Space Oddessy. Can't imagine what it must feel like living above the Earth like that for a while, seeing Earth from Space. Thanks, Jon
And you can never go wrong listening to the Eagles in a big ole SUV with Ice cream by your side...

Loved the visuals that brought up Eric. ( I'll watch the Ted talk a little later.)
have a great night everybody!
xxSandy

You’d have to watch Chris Hadfield’s TED Talk to get that last one. That talk certainly sent a few truth vibrations through me, and I’m reminded of this short piano piece by Alexis Ffrench..

				Absolutely stunning piano piece!
Music, a universal language.
Bumping this melancholic delight and wishing the board members a happy joy filled weekend. Here's to your Journey- Our dance with the Beloved!
"Hope In Balance"
https://youtu.be/fb9liEmyuCM?si=2bKkCf3QRZX-XPZZ
Third density, your Earth plane, is a world of great solitude and sorrow, with each entity shut up from each other entity in ways that do not occur before this density or after it. This is a density of metaphysical darkness lit only by that pale moon of hope and faith. And yet in this dim light there lies a depth of truth that shall never be touched again, for only in this density has the Creator given Itself the luxury of not knowing. Thusly, as each experiences himself, the Creator experiences Itself in an unspoiled and untouched way, totally spontaneous and totally free, and if that entity that is you finds that heart of love that is the deepest truth, that finding is completely real for it is not obvious that all is one… When that knowing which is beyond unknowing lights the sky of consciousness with that fullness of light which is true self-knowledge, there is a degree of joy that cannot be attained by those who already know the score.

And when will I stop smiling?
Somehow you made me believe again
That this is love
And this love's unconditional

Now this one gave me that feeling of hope --- at least those first few lyrics work for me --- what a gift music is ....
Eden’s Wall
Little Feat
“Storm clouds all around me
There's a lightning at my back
But there's an angel on my shoulder
That's keepin' my on track
No matter how bad I stumble
She's there to catch me when I fall
My angel of forgiveness has been
Around to see it all”

It seems that someone needs to show Dennis Lloyd the way. He’s feeling like an alien. Can’t say I blame him. Things can get rough here in planet 606.
