Happy Thanksgiving!

Post by Sandy »

I just wanted to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving! I know the clock just ticked over to Friday here, but the sentiment still stands, in fact, for the whole year through. I am so grateful for all of you.
I pray that God blesses you richly from Thanksgiving to Thanksgiving.
Hugs,
Sandy

We had an awesome holiday with my Aussie family joining us for the first time. They wanted to experience an Aussie Thanksgiving.
Friday, we froze to death at Dollywood, but everyone still had a blast.

How about you...Did you enjoy this, my favourite holiday of all?

You and the members of this forum are always on my gratitude list. As I have needed to step back a bit because of duties supporting my Mom, I am ever so thankful for those of you who carry us forward.

hi sandy,

this year was mom and dads last year to host. it was great, filled with unforgettable memories- like dad accidentally spilling all the juice and oil over the glass oven door. or all the guys going, "to watch football" but actually having fallen asleep in the living room. or mom forcing everyone to get together at the end for a group photo and play games- including reading what other people wrote down what they were grateful for... some comments were pretty hilarious- others were heartfelt and it did us all good as a group to come together and share in gratitude. despite the initial reluctance from some who would rather be left alone after eating everyones delicious food contributions.

anyways... happy to see you posting! love to you sister
