oh great moon
with gravity so strong
a force remiscent of ye faithful night
where a hand ripped me from my chest
and flung me to space

fragmented
projected
yet my essence, contained within

traveling a speed so fierce
i was propelled past the universe
where the stars became a blur,

now
in fear and discomfort, for i was moving too fast
until, i am somewhere new
and stars transfigured to geometric shapes
where tiny particles lingered gently about
and they began to move

up and down

in and out...

and i begin to hear your breath

rise, and fall...

am i moving?
no
but,
i can no longer contain
the intensity within
and,
in an instant
i am no more...

an explosion occurred here
and the colour green- my essence
coalesced with you, a new world
in a new universe
and my spirit born anew...

You put into words a feeling I experienced a couple nights ago as I stood outside looking up at the big beautiful moon overhead. ..feeling one with the universe. Thank you Eric...It is wonderful!
