I NEED A GOOD BOOK TO READ - ANY SUGGESTIONS!
Okay I've read a lot. Yes, I've read Urantia & I'm working on A Course in Miracles, but I need something else inbetween. I went to the library the other day, but nothing seemed to jump out at me. I'm a kind of metaphysical/spiritual/truth seeker. I love reading about how people transform their lives & the facts, whether scientific or spiritual. Can anyone recommend a new book that fits this description? I want to go out tonight after work or possibly tomorrow to pick one up!

Dear Pennysense,
There is a precis there, on every book. If you have not yet read James Padgett, you may like that. But you can't buy any of his books in stores, I think. Well I see you can get them at amazon, and there is a link off that page.
But, you must ask yourself if you are open to serious challenge? It sounds like it. Why I say that, nearly everything you read will conflict somewhere, some way. We are happy to discuss those things here, but if you are the type of person that likes to believe that your favourite books are 100% truth, its not going to pan out well. But if you are open to wrestling through these issues, and seeking Spirit to guide you. Jump into the Jungle.
love,
Geoff.

I need a good book to read--any suggestions?
Dear Pennysense,
One I really enjoyed was Jon Peniel's "The Law of the Children of One". It is available for sale over the internet (I can't remember the name of the company that distributes it). If you type it into your search engine you should be able to find it. It was well worth the money and a WONDERFUL book.
Bright Blessings,
Celeste

There are these three: Faith, Hope, and Love; but, the greatest of these is Love.

Stones,
I read the book "Path to Love" Deepak Chopra is one of my favorite authors. This book is wonderful inspiration book that I think anyone could benefit from reading.
Celeste,
"The Children of The Law of One", this sounds like a book for me. Anything to do with law seems to appeal to me, as I am a certified Paralegal. Thanks for the suggestion!
Helen,
Soul and Soil...review going up in a minute, is this a book & where is the review going up at?

What God Wants, by N. D. Walsh. Amazing book, transformed me almost overnight. It is a quick read, but you can probably skip the first 75 pages--the best stuff is pp. 187-202 or so.
BTW, Walsh has the dubious distinction of having written five books which hit the New York Times best-seller list, none of which were ever reviewed by the Times.

The way out...
Penny if you haven't read The Way out you are totally missing out on one of thee all time best books ever written and it can be read in one day. Check it out on Amazon, just read the reviews and you will see for yourself. The book is written like a thought adjuster wrote it, no lie. The weird thing is that the author is unknown.

Armedon1111 - thanks!
Is it called "The Way Out?" Hum, the author is unknown, do you just search for the title, then?
I will try to find it, thanks I appreciate it, it sounds like a book for me, I actually like reading short stories, overnighters, if you will, because if you look around my house, any place I sit, there is a book in process, even in the bathroom, lol
Oh & by the way, I'm on my second reading of the Urantia book - yes!

There are lots of great books listed. Here are a few more:
The Way is very good
The Science of Compassion Gregg Braden
Awakening to Zero Point, The Collective Iniation Gregg Braden
The Isaiah Scroll G Braden
The Tao of Physics F Capra
Enjoy!!!
The Way discusses 'the way' and by that way how one gets 'out' it is a yogi who wrote it I believe. Hard to find sometimes
