the number prompts that is--I know I haven't really been doing God's Will at all (what I take to be getting my work done and being loving)

and it's so hard for me to communicate with ppl nowadays too, I just don't feel like I have any love for anyone.

I live with Christians and it's really hard for me to be myself because I'm not sure if I believe in the same thing they do so I feel like I'm stiffling myself. Even if we were all 11:11ers, I wouldn't love God as much as they do.

Well I am sorry you are out of sorts, but why on earth do you think that "christians" love God more than you? I am proof reading a new book, a friend of mine has written, and he has chanelled some very good stuff. This fellow was all into "praise", like christians everywhere, but gently Father stepped him back into "obedience" as being "praise". I never thought Father wanted meaningless praise. When I do His Will, I am sure that matters more than hollow words. When I reach out to another, I am sure that means more than reciting a mind numbing prayer.

Life can be so hard at times and it is our experiences that sometimes feel like a sack of rocks around our neck.... hard to carry... hard to let go of too. While I can't know exactly what you are feeling at this moment. I can say that I have been tired and ready to chuck it... sometimes. We are human and while it probably isn't wise to always use that as the excuse...still we are often way to hard and judgemental on ourselves. I know from your post that you aren't happy with the way you are meeting
God and his "will" these days. Yet I am sure that He/She understands you completely... all the little things that make up the way you are feeling or living at this moment. He/She loves you deeply and in fact has never left your side or rather your insides... living every day every moment with you. Sharing your happiness, grief, pain, even perhaps your apathy. He/She doesn't neccessarily expect us to to monumental things...just be ourselves and "learn" to love. and believe me that takes some work and some doing. So please, sweetie, go easy on yourself. You are a beautiful person from the inside out. You are finding your spiritual way. you are! ... Baby steps ..little baby steps...not merely giant leaps will get you where you want to go every time. Step softly on yourself... you are very much loved and all you desire your relationship to be with God... the way you yourself perceive this Beloved Being, will come about...no stress... no pressure. Just be and let be...

I think when we feel as though God has left us it is because we are focusing on all the negative about ourselves and our surrounding world. We allow ourselves to feel unworthy of God's love. God IS love. WE are all a tiny part of God. That is why we need to love ourselves (focus on every tiny positive thing about yourself and it will grow and spread). You will find yourself wanting to spread love and happiness...Soon you will be feeling what IS already there but you are not feeling worthy to receive...God's immense love!

That makes perfect sense, Sammy! Globird, I understand what you're going through. My son attends a Christian high school. When speaking with him, it seems that all is focused on "hell", "sins", "fear", etc. It's enough to stifle someone's spiritual journey. I remember being so afraid of "sinning", that I didn't even want to get out of bed in the morning. I thought I wasn't "worthy" of God's love. Then the prompts came and I found this site. Now I know that God loves me the way I am for who I am. I feel unconditional love. I hope you find this too.

Take it easy, I've felt like that, but time and patience will help. I keep messing up, but get right back up and try again. My problem is I tend to lose my patience with everything, and once in awhile I yell, can anybody hear me!! I apologize when I am praying and hope I didn't scare all the angels in heaven! We all love you.

Guessing that was "guided typing"...I saw your post and thought "what the heck did I say???" And I don't recall a word of it! Or, maybe I'm just getting old!

Linda-you cracked me up! One time I heard a distinct voice, it said "you must meditate for 4 hours a day"...I literally laughed and said "sure... right" in a sarcastic tone. Didn't hear from them for a while. OOPS!
